Abstract: Background for creation of vector cadastral component of SM 5 is digital cadastral map (DKM) or cadastral map digitized (KMD). The cadastral component does not contain parcel numbers.
Purpose: The State map at a scale of 1.5,000 is a fundamental state map series at a large scale. It displays complete territory of the Czech Republic in a continuous map layout. Fundamental planimetric graphic backgrounds are cadastral maps.

The projection keeps the mathematic so called "east-north" orientation of coordinate axis where the X axis has positive values eastwards and Y axis northwards. The projection is related to the Greenwich Prime Meridian (contrary to the EPSG 5221 S-JTSK (Ferro) / Krovak East North where the Prime Meridian is Ferro).
