Definition: Administrative units including their geometry (polygon), Administrative units boundaries including their geometry (line between common boundary points of three administrative units
at the lowest level of national administrative hierarchy) and NUTS regions including their geometry (polygon).
Administrative units are administered at four levels of national administrative hierarchy - State, VÚSC (new regions), district and municipality.
NUTS regions are administered at two levels of national administrative hierarchy (NUTS1 and NUTS3).
Spatial information are provided using following spatial objects types:
AdministrativeUnit, AdministrativeBoundary) and NUTSRegion..
INSPIRE harmonized series data sets
Dataset for the theme Administrative Units (AU) harmonised according to the INSPIRE Directive and ELF Data Specification version 1.0. Harmonized INSPIRE dataset contains only administrative units and their boundaries. Administrative units are country, regions, districts and municipalities. The dataset covers the whole territory of the Czech Republic in one file. Administrative boundaries are routed between common boundary points of three administrative units at the lowest level of division, i.e. municipalities. It is provided as Open Data (licence CC-BY 4.0). Data is based on RÚIAN (Register of territorial identification, addresses and real estates). Dataset is created daily in case of any change. Data in the GML 3.2.1 format are valid against XML Definition Schema for the theme Administrative Units in version 4.0 and spatial data scheme for ELF in version 1.0. Dataset is compressed (ZIP) for downloading.
