| Product description | State map at a scale of 1:5000 (SM 5) is a part of large scale national map series. It captures the Czech Republic territory on 16,301 map sheets in continuous map layout. Dimensions of map sheet showing the 5 km2 area are 50 x 40 cm. Dimensions and designation of map sheets are derived from the map sheets of State map 1:50 000, divided into 10 columns and 10 layers, the name of map sheet is complemented by numbers of columns and layers. The contour lines interval is 1, 2, and 5 m. Only SMO-5 and SM 5 R can have contour lines interval of 2.5 m. The map contains planimetry, altimetry and map lettering. The subjects of planimetry are points of geodetic control, boundaries of parcels, nature of land use and mode of land use, buildings, administrative and cadastral boundaries, protected areas and other elements of planimetry. The subjects of altimetry are terrain relief captured by contour lines with specified altitude and forms of terrain relief. Map lettering consists of geographic names, names of public places and map type indication. Map sheets are complemented by planimetric net of orthogonal coordinates (S-JTSK). | |
